Antifungal Treatments for Ringworm: Lamisil

Topical antifungal drugs containing miconazole and clotrimazole, available by prescription or over the counter, are used to clear up the infection, either in a cream form, or tablets or liquid taken by mouth. Lamisil is one of the more common such medications.

Teatree Oil

There is anecdotal evidence that Teatree Oil massaged into the affected area can help, as there is also for the application of cider vinegarwater.

It is important to make sure that all people affected with Ringworm receive treatment to avoid rapid re-infection.
